What you actually do
Scorecard and delay. Campaign preview. You are cadence ops, not a creative director.
Library / beauty brands / Beauty retention is a cadence problem more than a creative problem
Beauty brands leak when welcome is a coupon, cart is three panics, post-purchase begs for a review before they have used the product, and campaigns do the flows’ jobs. This vertical wires event truth, a scored flow set, use-then-review timing, replenishment at a real interval, and campaigns that do not mail recent buyers like strangers. Cadence is the system.

The weekly number is flow RPR (or flow revenue share) and unsubscribes/complaints. Creative tests wait if RPR is a vibe.
Routine day 3–14 is when they decide if they stay. Review on day 0 is noise and sometimes a one-star about shipping.
Shade/routine capture is a property if you will use it. If not, do not ask.
Kill the campaign that is doing a flow’s job. That is the fastest 'creative' win.
Peak (holidays) : flows stay on. Pausing them to 'campaign' is how you pay twice.

Operator
Flows first. Use window. Replenish. Pulses on segments. Peak: flows on. Sunset.
CEO
Beauty economics live in cadence. If flow RPR is indefensible, more creative is more mute. Score the system, then ship two gaps.
Placed Order, product use window, replenishment clock, review ask owner, RFM or equivalent, flow RPR, campaign pulses, sunset, shade/routine fields if you have them.
Welcome without leading on discount (or discount not first)
Post-purchase: shipping truth, then use, then review, then replenish
Campaigns exclude recent buyers and active flow members where jobs collide
Win-back finite; beauty lists die from frequency without a map
Welcome, cart, post-purchase, replenish, win-back. On, filtered, not colliding.
Why: Beauty 'brand stories' hide missing flows.
Done when: Scorecard. Two gaps named.
Delay matches the product. One ask owner.
Why: Day-zero reviews are a timing bug.
Done when: Test order does not ask before the window.
Real, not a monthly brand story. SKU-level if you can.
Why: Amazon wins the refill if you wait for a campaign.
Done when: A repeat SKU has a clock.
Recent buyers, in-flow. Segment, not all subscribers.
Why: Thursday to everyone is how you train mute.
Done when: Next campaign preview excludes.
Unengaged off. List size is not the asset.
Why: Beauty lists rot from frequency.
Done when: Next send excludes museum.
Flow scorecard. Review delay. Next campaign exclusion preview. Replenish clock on a hero SKU. You are not shooting a new campaign concept.
A creative retainer for weekly essays, a UGC agency, or Black Friday inventing until flows score and reviews wait for use. More stories on a cadence leak train mute.
Coupon welcome. Cart panic. Review day 0. Campaigns as the system. Flows paused in peak. That is a calendar, not beauty lifecycle.
Flow RPR (or flow revenue), complaint rate, impersonator campaigns off. Protect cadence.
They may be training waiters. Proof-first can be the brand. If you discount, still do not let campaigns steal flows.
UGC is content. It still needs a review trigger after use, not a third ask on day one.
That is the leak. Launches are pulses on segments. Flows stay.
This week
This week: score flows, use-then-review, exclusion on the next send, one replenish clock. No new brand story as the main work.
If Placed Order is dirty, every flow metric is theatre. Fix the event before the subject line.

Working notes
Score your Klaviyo and lifecycle system the way an operator would. Request the file. It arrives by email — not a public dump, not a drip of slogans.
Email and WhatsApp stay open. A call is for installing the system — not for a tour of tools.
